MUD (Season)

Our annual group exhibit looking forward to Spring!

March 14 - April 19, 2025

Artistree Gallery invites you to participate in a celebration of Vermont's iconic, cautiously optimistic Mud Season. This exhibit anticipates the warmth and color to come, bids adieu to the cold, spare landscape of recent memory, and reflects on Change - the changing of the season, the changing of our climate, and the change and renewal that the Spring promises.

Exhibit Opens: Friday, March 14, 2025
Exhibit Ends: April 19, 2025
ONLINE SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
Drop off dates/times: March 4-7, 2025 from 10am-5pm
Eligibility: Artists working in Vermont & New Hampshire
Opening Reception: Friday, March 14 from 5:30-7:30pm

Artists may submit up to three 2-D or 3-D original artworks, suitably prepared for gallery presentation. Gallery-wrapped canvases may or may not be framed but must be wired for hanging. Works on paper should be framed. Please contact us if your canvases are very large; our space is limited and we may not be able to hang 3 large pieces. 
3-D work must be free-standing, or wall-mounted with permission. We are not able to accomodate extremely heavy, wall-mounted work!

All work submitted is accepted, with the caveat that we may not be able to hang all three pieces, depending on size and amount of other work submitted. Please deliver your work March 4-7, 2025 from 10am-5pm, labelled with artist's name, title of work, media used, and price (if for sale). Artistree Gallery will process all sales and charge 35% commission.
