This opportunity is available to a dynamic, hard-working individual looking to develop their hands-on experience with a community-based arts organization. The Events Coordinator role is an integral part of the Artistree staff and will support Artistree’s mission to deliver meaningful and accessible arts experiences to children, families, and community members in the Upper Valley.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
The ideal candidate for the Events Coordinator will have experience handling event planning and coordination, and will be able to serve as a cheerful and helpful point of contact for visitors and outside inquiries to Artistree.
Schedule and compensation:
This is a part-time, hourly position with pay rate in the range of $20.00/hour based on experience. The standard schedule will be approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility and some availability on evenings and weekends required. There may be adjustments to the schedule during the summer, or at other times based on Artistree’s program and event schedule.
General responsibilities:
Handling all inquiries and communications regarding events and rentals, including space rentals, birthday parties, and other scheduled events
Walking prospective patrons through available event spaces
Handling contracts for events and space rentals
Hosting on-site events, including availability for parties
Providing front-end support for concerts and other performances and special events
Primary point of contact for outside rental of Artistree housing, as required
Primary role in organizing and executing occasional events within Artistree, including periodic fundraising events
Coordinating relationships with vendors to support events and activities
Maintaining rental page and marketing materials on Artistree website
Collaborating with coworkers to achieve Artistree goals through communication, teamwork, and problem-solving
Primary responsibility for managing Events department budget
Other duties as assigned based on Artistree’s requirements
Experience & Skills
2 years of experience in an event planning or similar role
Basic proficiency with standard office technology
Well-organized; strong written and verbal communications skills
Ability to take initiative, work independently as well as collaboratively, good problem solver
Comfortable interacting with children and adults
Adaptable; able to prioritize and manage multiple activities
Positive attitude, people-oriented, enthusiastic about putting on successful events
Has or will work towards holding a valid CPR/AED/First Aid certification

$1500 stipend for 4 rehearsals and 13 performances, paid over 2 weeks.

Office Manager/Receptionist (Full-Time) Position Description
This opportunity is available to a dynamic, hard-working individual looking to develop their hands-on experience with a community-based arts organization.
The Office Manager role is an integral part of the Artistree staff and will support Artistree’s mission to deliver meaningful arts experiences to children, families, and community members in the Upper Valley.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
The ideal candidate for the Office Manager/Receptionist position will have experience handling administrative responsibilities in a non-profit and/or small-office environment, and will be able to serve as a cheerful and helpful first point of contact for visitors and outside inquiries to Artistree.
Schedule and compensation:
This is a full-time, salaried position with pay rate in the range of $45,000/year based on experience. Standard work hours will be Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. There may be adjustments to the schedule during the summer, or at other times based on Artistree’s program and event schedule.
General responsibilities:

Primary receptionist duties for Artistree’s office, including answering phone calls, responding to e-mail queries, and addressing in-person inquiries.

Handling customer and staff support requests related to Artistree’s program registration and event ticketing software systems.

Provide assistance in coordinating facility and staff calendars.

Managing and ordering art and office supplies.
-
Managing office equipment and systems, including coordination with vendors.

Managing office mail and package deliveries.
-
Serving as an internal point of contact for general staff communications and occasional events.

Primary responsibility for managing the Central Office operating budget.

Other duties as assigned based on Artistree’s requirements.
Experience & Skills

3 years of experience in a general office setting; non-profit experience is a plus.

Proficiency with standard office technology; ability to learn new software and systems.
