Local Color Returns!
Our annual exhibit of Local Artists celebrating the delights of Autumn in Vermont returns to the Gallery! Landscapes, people, animals, harvest time - and most of all, the foliage that captivates visitors and locals alike are depicted in 2-D and 3-D artworks.

Local Color is our annual fall exhibit rejoicing in the wealth of art created in our local community! Each artist interprets the theme as they choose and may submit up to 3 pieces. We accept all work submitted, but our space is limited, and we may not be able to hang every piece, depending on the sizes and amount of work we receive. Please see the updated information below for submission guidelines and details.
Both 2-D and 3-D works of all media are accepted. Artists living and working in VT/NH are eligible to submit. Any questions about suitability of the work or artist's eligibility, email exhibits@artistreevt.org
All 2-D work MUST be presented properly for gallery display - works on paper must be framed, preferably matted & under glass, with hanging apparatus on the back. Canvases must arrive dry and be wired for hanging. (please, position screw eyes 1/3 from the top and within the stretcher frame, not on the outside) Unframed canvases should be gallery-wrapped and finished on their sides for best presentation. 3-D work is generally displayed on pedestals - please contact us if your work needs other display options.
We have had a lot of large paintings submitted for recent exhibits, and we cannot accommodate them all. Please contact us before submitting any work larger than 36" on its shortest side. Also, when submitting your work, please list your submissions IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE, in case we cannot hang all three entries due to space constraints.
The $15 entry fee covers up to 3 submissions, one of which can be Not For Sale. If you would like to submit more than one piece NFS, we do charge an additional $15/piece. Artistree will retain 35% commission on all sales.
The entry fee can be paid through the button on the right, or when your work is delivered.
