Salsa on the Hill: A Night of Music, Dance, and Culture

As the summer season kicks off, Artistree Community Arts Center invites you to "Salsa on the Hill," a vibrant evening filled with music, dance, and cultural delights. Join us on June 15th, 2024, for the return of the sensational Boston-based salsa band, Juan Nieves & Legado Orquestra. This lively concert is the inaugural event of Artistree’s highly anticipated summer concert series, promising an unforgettable night under the stars.

The Music: Juan Nieves & Legado Orquestra

Juan Nieves & Legado Orquestra, known for their dynamic fusion of classic salsa and innovative arrangements, will lead you on a musical journey that captures the heart and soul of Latin-American rhythms. The band is spearheaded by the talented Puerto Rican cuatro player, Juan Nieves, and features the charismatic composer, arranger, singer, and storyteller, Rafa Moreno. Their performance is sure to get everyone on their feet, dancing to the infectious beats and melodies.

Dance the Night Away: Free Salsa Dance Lesson

Before the concert, warm up your dancing feet with a free salsa dance lesson from the Upper Valley Salsa Dancing Club. From 5:45 pm to 6:30 pm, learn the moves and grooves of salsa dancing in a fun and welcoming environment. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot early!

About Upper Valley Salsa: Upper Valley Salsa is a Salsa/Latin Dancing Club dedicated to supporting and encouraging Salsa and other Latin dancing in the Upper Valley. The club aims to bring people together for the social, mental, physical, and cultural benefit of the community.
