Meet the Cast of Ten November: Part 3
Stephanie Morgan
I started acting in high school musicals at Woodstock Union High School and took a few acting classes in college. I’ve only recently come back to acting in the past few years with my community acting debut in Loose Cannon and second performance in God of Carnage, both here at The Grange Theatre. I’m so grateful to have this opportunity to do something that I wholeheartedly love to do. My day job is at the Office of Sponsored Projects at Dartmouth College as the team lead for the Geisel School of Medicine’s grant submissions. True to my Vermont roots, I own a Morgan horse named Absolute Radiance and have fond memories of listening to my stepfather tell stories of being a kid and working at Upwey Farms in South Woodstock back in the day.
Role: Actor 5/Unseen Voice/Barrow
Where are you from?
Woodstock, Vermont
How/why did you get into acting?
I enjoyed performing in high school musicals at Woodstock Union High School and took a few theatre classes in college. I started in community theatre just a few years ago at The Grange/Artistree because I absolutely love being on stage and participating in the collaborative, creative process that transforms us (actors and audience) into a unique place and time with a shared experience.
What does it mean for you to be in this show?
To have the opportunity to do what I love to do in the supportive environment that Jade and Matt provide is an enriching experience. I am energized by working with them and always feel supported. I’m not a professional actor, however, I love the craft and process of acting. I love the interplay between actors and audience that makes each performance unique. I am very excited to participate in this show for so many reasons: the script, the cast, the themes woven throughout in words and music… I really think that audience members will enjoy this show, whether or not they know anything about the topic. If people think it might be a dry topic, I can assure them that this play is engaging and entertaining. I couldn’t be more excited to share this story and this production with my community, doing what I absolutely love to do.
Can you tell us one fun fact about yourself?
I own a Morgan horse named Absolute Radiance.

Role: SINGER 2
Where are you from?
Los Angeles, California
How/why did you get into acting?
I started theater casually in middle school playing the Dragon in Shrek the Musical and never looked back! Throughout high school I did musicals, danced competitively, sang in choir, and was on a comedic improv team. I then went to CAP 21 to get my BFA in Musical Theatre, and having just graduated, I am now beginning my professional career!
What does it mean for you to be in this show?
The music of this show is so wonderful and is truly a gift to get work on. For me this show is an exploration of how music can shape a story and evoke feeling, and a chance to dive into the genre of folk.
Can you tell us one fun fact about yourself?
Fun fact. I used to backpack a lot growing up, my longest trip out being 11 days on trail then, and I had a bear encounter! I hope to get back into it and one day do the full Pacific Crest Trail from the bottom of California to the top of Washington!
