Big Laughs, Big Skills, Big Fun: Circus Camp with Troy Wunderle!
This summer, the circus is coming to Artistree—and not just any circus! We’re thrilled to welcome legendary circus performer, educator, and Vermont native Troy Wunderle for an unforgettable week of laughter, movement, and circus magic at our Circus Summer Camp for ages 6 through 12.

Troy Wunderle brings a lifetime of show-stopping talent and joy to every stage—and now, to the hills of South Pomfret. A graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art and the world-famous Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, Troy toured internationally with Ringling Bros. before spending nearly three decades performing and directing with Vermont’s beloved Circus Smirkus.
Troy is the founding director of Wunderle’s Big Top Adventures and served as the Director of Clowning for the Ringling Brothers for six years. His zany antics and incredible talent have been featured on The Disney Channel, The Today Show, Martha Stewart, Fox & Friends, and America’s Funniest Home Videos, among many others. In 2022, he was honored with the American Circus Educators Excellence in Circus Education Award, recognizing his dedication to teaching and inspiring the next generation of performers.
During this high-energy camp, kids will dive into circus classics like juggling, acrobatics, clowning, and more, all while gaining confidence, teamwork skills, and creative expression. Best of all, they’ll showcase their new talents in a dazzling end-of-week performance for family and friends!

This camp runs the week of July 28 - Aug 1, 2025 from 9:00am - 4:00pm each day.
