Travel Writing for the Amateur or Serious Voyager
For me traveling is about self-exploration. I've been cultivating different ways to facilitate travel for the last several years and have recently traveled from home in Vermont for extended trips to countries in Europe and beyond. In this workshop, we’ll explore methods for documenting and writing about your trip – whether it be for family and friends, for an off-beat travel magazine, or for a book project you have in mind. We’ll discuss ways to make traveling and writing happen – especially on a budget. We’ll discuss styles of writing and which medium would best be used for each type of project: blogging, Instagram, journaling, book project, etc. Bring a pen and paper.
