Summer Painting & Sculpting Lab
Join us for a week of art studio skill building. Learn specific techniques and skills to create a whole repertoire of figurative and/or animal works out of a variety of drawings and paintings. We'll brainstorm ideas with various fun sketching exercises and then expand to full color paintings and sculptures. Campers will create works on paper, canvas, clay and wood using both 2D and 3D methods. We will explore composition, proportion, and gestural and emotive expression as you work toward developing your own portfolio of whimsical and original works. The camp will balance both indoor and outdoor time for creating.
