Submit Your Work: UNBOUND Vol. X

We are happy to announce the return of UNBOUND Vol X, the 10th exhibit of unique works exploring what a book can be… art using ‘the book’ as a subject, material or format. Presented by Artistree Gallery in conjunction with Bookstock in Woodstock, VT. Open to all 2D & 3D artworks by artists who are working in VT or NH.

Our 10th exhibit of Book Art returns to Artistree in tandem with Bookstock, The Green Mountain Festival of Words, from June 24 - July 16, 2022. Visitors will have an opportunity to examine curious folios, recent grimoires, tomes turned to sculpture and some works having a relation to “books” in concept only. The theme of the show is simple, art using books as subject matter, material or format. Art lovers and bibliophiles alike can expect to be intrigued, and maybe inspired, by the work found on exhibit this summer in Unbound, Vol. X.

Presented at Artistree Gallery in partnership with Bookstock, which takes place in Woodstock, VT June 24 - 26, 2022.

Open to artists working in Vermont or New Hampshire.
People's Choice prizes awarded at exhibit end. Vote for your favorite piece! (1 vote per visitor).

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Entries must be submitted on-line by Saturday, June 4, 2022 by 6:00pm. 
Delivery dates: June 13 - 16, 2022  9:00 - 5:00

Eligibility: Unbound is an exploration of anything a book can be. 
This exhibition is for artists working in all traditional and non-traditional 2D (wall mounted) and 3D media. All artwork must be original in concept, design and execution, and must strictly adhere to the theme of the show. Note: reproductions can be used in mixed media work. Submissions are open to Vermont and New Hampshire residents who are 18 years of age or older.

Artists agree in submitting the fee and their work, that Artistree or Bookstock shall not be insuring the work while in transit (delivered to and from), when delivered, and when at Artistree Gallery and thus artists may obtain their own insurance for any loss whatsoever. 
Installations are welcome at the discretion of Artistree, but must meet all other specifications and be delivered, installed and removed by the artist (or their approved agent) and picked-up by the artist upon arrangement with Artistree staff.

Submission Guidelines: 
Artists may submit up to 3 pieces. Depending on space and amount of submissions, we may not be able to accomodate all 3 pieces, so please submit them in order of importance. We will notify you prior to delivery if we cannot exhibit all three pieces. All artists who submit will have at least one piece shown, assuming it fits the theme of the exhibit. If work is for sale, it should be priced with 35% commission going to Artistree.

Please label your actual piece with the following information:
1. The ENTRY # corresponding with your online form
3. TITLE of the piece
4. Your EMAIL address
5. Your PHONE number

All submissions must be made through our online entry form available on the Artistree website.

Images may be uploaded through that entry form as well. The entry fee of $30 may be paid by credit card through the website, or by check or cash in person.

Digital Images. You may submit up to 3 images per entry. 
• 72 ppi resolution
•1000 pxl on longest side.
• JPG file type
• File names should be saved in the format: LastName_Entry#_Title_Image#.jpg
• The entry # and image # should reflect your entry form

Online submissions must be made no later than 6pm June 4, 2022
