Storybook Dance Camp
Dive into the stories, fairy tales, and adventures of the dance world! Campers will enjoy group storytime each day with dance-themed books ranging from Lola’s Fandango, Tallulah’s Tap Shoes, and Dancing in the Wings to ballet fairytales like Cinderella and Misty Copeland’s Firebird (titles subject to change and addition). After reading we’ll have a dance class inspired by the book, giving participants a taste of genres like flamenco, ballet, jazz, tap, and more! After dancing we’ll get creative through music games, drawing time, dance-viewing, and dance-making to bring these stories to life and make them our own.
Campers should wear comfortable clothing they can move in and wear socks and sneakers. No dresses or jeans.
