Rebound and Rebuild: Mindfulness Meditation Retreat
After a year of uncertainty it’s time to come home to where you were. Spend the day meeting yourself where you may have left off. In our time together you will explore and be supported in mindfulness meditation practices, a gentle way to find the comfort and ease that you may have forgotten. Let the practices we share be the mortar that will provide us with strength as we rebuild a life of happiness and ease. No prior experience is necessary: every day we show up as beginners! We will take an hour-long lunch break (outdoors, weather-dependent).
What to bring:
A bagged lunch
A yoga mat if you have one
An open heart
This class is made possible through the generous support of the Ottauquechee Health Foundation.
Susan Mordecai has been teaching mindfulness meditation for over 10 years. She has been fortunate to have had many wonderful teachers as she learned how to be comfortable within her own practice and ways to support others as they take to the cushion. Susan has practiced with Jon Kabat-Zinn (MBSR: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction), Daniel Rechtschaffen (Mindful Education Institute), Jack Kornfeld (Mindful Education Institute), Vinny Ferraro (Mindful Education Institute), and Chris Willard (Barre Center for Buddhist Studies.)
