Pattern Play (8-12)
What is a pattern? A repeated design? Naturally occurring shapes or forms? Symmetry or asymmetry? Together we'll use our eyes and cameras to explore and record both natural patterns and manmade patterns. Then we'll create some of our own--outdoor sculptures/mosaics, nature mandalas, dyed paper, printed leaves, simple stitching and projects inspired by our young participants. Come dressed to spend time outdoors and get messy!
