Ornaments in Polymer Clay (Ages 5-8)
If you like making Christmas cookies, then you’ll love cutting out ornaments in polymer clay. Polymer clay is a versatile medium that comes in many brilliant colors. We will use mechanical pasta machines to condition and flatten our clay like rolled out cookie dough. There will lots of cookie cutter shapes to choose from (gingerbread folks, trees, snowmen, wreaths…). We will then decorate them with other colors before they are baked. Once finished off with a sparkly hanger, these ornaments make lovely keepsake gifts.
