JUAN NIEVES & LEGADO'S ORQUESTRA coming to Artistree June 16th!

Artistree is thrilled to welcome Boston-based salsa band Juan Nieves & Legado's Orquestra on Friday, June 16th at 7 pm! This concert will be the kick-off event for Artistree’s upcoming summer concert series. Get ready to DANCE and have FUN at Artistree’s family-friendly hillside performance venue while also enjoying the spectacular view!

Juan Nieves & Legado's Orquestra is a refreshing musical ensemble thanks to its Latin-American influences. With themes written by the great classics of the salsa like Rubén Blades, José Nogueras, and Tite Curet Alonso, and also featuring new songs arranged by their leader and Puerto Rican cuatro player, Juan Nieves, and its charismatic composer, arranger, singer and storyteller, Rafa Moreno.

Enjoy arepas and empanadas from Moon and Stars!

“We are thrilled to perform our music at this event because we have an extended repertoire that we know is going to be enjoyed and danced to by everyone who joins us. As someone who was nourished by Latin-American music throughout my life, it has been my mission to extend our cultural music and our native instrument, the Puerto Rican Cuatro, throughout the globe. My team and I are very much looking forward to doing our music, to play together and to share our love for what we do. Get ready to listen to new refreshing compositions, arrangements under the voice and storytelling of Panamanian Rafa Moreno and have a great time honoring our cultural roots. We can’t wait to join you Vermont!” says Nieves.
