Intro to Soul Collage®

SoulCollage® is a creative collage process for self-discovery, self-acceptance, and personal empowerment.

Developed by Seena B. Frost, SoulCollage® is an easy, fun, and intuitive collage process for making a personal deck of cards that represents your Soul – one card at a time. SoulCollage® can enrich your self-awareness, illuminate meaningful connections, celebrate the joys in life, and nurture the many aspects of who you are. As your deck grows, it can be used for SoulCollage® Readings that can deepen your self-inquiry and elicit your own inner wisdom about life direction, concerns, or challenges.

During this retreat-style workshop, you will learn about and practice the basic elements of SoulCollage®. The facilitators will provide assistance to create the first card(s) in your deck, guide a process for gaining personal insights from your cards, and offer resources to support an ongoing SoulCollage® practice at home. Participants will work independently in a supportive, non-judgemental group atmosphere. There will be small and large group sharing that is encouraged, but not required. Dress comfortably for a day in an art studio engaged in a clean activity. Bring your own lunch. A preferred writing journal is optional. All materials provided including a SoulCollage® kit for 3 cards. Additional supplies available for purchase.

She is also a painter and 3-dimensional mixed media artist. Beth Kendrick ATR-BC, LCMHC is a certified SoulCollage® facilitator, art and play therapist and mental health counselor living with her family and working in private practice in Central Vermont. She is a life long fine artist who actively maintains her art making practice using mixed media, encaustic and collage. While she has exhibited her art widely in her professional life, these past few years has called her to reflectively turn inward to seek inner wisdom, awareness of self, connection to universal energy, nature and her personal power using art as a vehicle for exploration. This practice opens her up to reflect on this changing world and her place in it. She has found SoulCollage® to be a simple process to learn, which yields an abundance of self-understanding with rich opportunities for accessing intuition, self-nurturance and creativity. Beth spends her free time enjoying all the benefits that the great outdoors and beauty of Vermont provides with her husband, adult children and her energetic dog. She sings with the Montpelier Gospel Choir, and is working on obtaining her level 2 Reiki training, all of which support moving through this world in collaboration with love, light and Universal wisdom.
