“It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.” -E.E. Cummings
The “tween” years, the short but intense span from childhood into adolescence, present a unique and challenging period in the lives of girls. In this confidential and supportive group Wendy Seiple will facilitate exploring difficult areas of the tween years through the expressive arts and peer support. This group is focused on empowering girls to move through the tween period with greater ease and confidence.
Wendy Seiple is the Events Coordinator at ArtisTree. She has a background in graphic design, marketing, and photography. She grew up in Hanover and has lived in Woodstock since 2001 (with time globe-trotting and raising a family along the way). Wendy believes that art offers a positive way to express feelings and ideas that might otherwise be difficult to communicate. She also believes that creating art is empowering and can help strengthen self-confidence and awareness.
