Drawing You In
Whatever your skill level, from amateur to seasoned artist, this course will offer you a chance to open up, loosen up, and experience a new freedom to visualize the world in new ways. Using simple means of expression such as pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, and pastel, we will explore technique and, more importantly, a new mindset to help you grow as an artist. Come develop an open-minded curiosity and feel emboldened to take chances, all the while having fun on the journey.

Richard Gombar holds a BFA from Pratt Institute. He has taught at Hofstra University, Pratt, MassArt, and Lebanon College. For 17 years Richard has lived in Vermont, painting landscapes and barns in pastel, charcoal, and oils en plein air and in the studio. In his work he tries to capture fleeting moments and to “make the immense intimate.” He is represented by Geary Gallery, CT and his work is also available through Canal Street Art Gallery in Bellows Falls, VT.
