Drawing and Painting for Homeschoolers
Topics include still life objects, perspective drawing, color theory, and composition. In addition, group discussion on the work is encouraged and mentored by the instructor. A formal critique is held on the last day of class, and students will have the ability to draw, paint, and talk about their work with academic comprehension.
Drawing media will range from charcoal to graphite, and painting will consist of gouache. Homework will be given based on the in class studies that are created, and should be minimal as most of the work is done in class.
