Cultural Flora in Copper Foil
Create a lovely embossed copper foil display inspired by plant life and floral imagery from a variety of cultures throughout history. Participants will create their own designs and explore simple techniques to create depth in 36-gauge copper foil. Each student will adhere their embossing to a wood backing, apply India ink to bring out textures and patterns, and wire the piece to create a finished presentation for display in your home or for gift giving.
