All About Color
Discover the magic of color and the color wheel! Over this six-week session, children will explore the primary colors red, blue, and yellow and create the secondary colors orange, green, and purple during an active hour of fun. Each class is devoted to a different color and features circle time and a story, a color-based treasure hunt, and a choice of activities—sorting, painting, gluing, and drawing—through which kids investigate the color of the week. By the end of the session each child will have created their own special color wheel.
Children are invited to bring or wear a “show and tell” item relating to the color of the week. Please have your child wear clothes that can get messy.
Caregivers are welcome to attend as per their child’s needs.
